Laboratories
Modern laboratory facilities designed to support practical learning in pharmaceutical sciences.
Practical training is an essential component of pharmacy education. At Ramratti Devi College of Pharmacy, students gain hands-on experience through well-equipped laboratories that support experimental learning and skill development.
Our laboratories are designed to help students understand pharmaceutical concepts through real-world applications, laboratory experiments, and guided practical sessions under the supervision of experienced faculty members.
These facilities allow students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical pharmaceutical practices.
Computer Lab
The Computer Lab provides students with access to modern computer systems and essential software required for academic learning and research. It supports activities such as data analysis, academic assignments, digital learning, and access to online pharmaceutical resources. The lab also helps students develop basic computer skills that are important for modern healthcare and pharmaceutical professions.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab
The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab is designed to help students understand the chemical principles involved in drug formulation and analysis. Equipped with essential laboratory instruments and chemicals, the lab allows students to perform experiments related to drug composition, chemical reactions, and pharmaceutical analysis. Practical training in this lab strengthens students’ understanding of medicinal chemistry and drug quality evaluation.
Pharmaceutics Lab
The Pharmaceutics Laboratory focuses on the preparation and formulation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, syrups, and ointments. Through hands-on experiments, students learn techniques related to drug formulation, compounding, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This lab helps students understand how medicines are developed, prepared, and delivered safely to patients.
Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Lab provides students with practical exposure to fundamental chemical principles that form the foundation of pharmaceutical sciences. Students perform experiments involving chemical reactions, solution preparation, titration techniques, and qualitative analysis. These practical sessions help students build a strong understanding of chemistry concepts relevant to drug development and pharmaceutical studies.
Machine Room
The Machine Room contains essential pharmaceutical equipment used for demonstrating manufacturing and processing techniques in pharmacy. Students gain exposure to various machines and instruments used in pharmaceutical production and formulation processes. This facility helps students understand the mechanical and industrial aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing and equipment handling.
Social Pharmacy Lab
The Social Pharmacy Lab focuses on the role of pharmacists in public health and patient care. It supports activities related to drug information services, patient counseling, and community pharmacy practices. Through practical learning and case-based discussions, students develop communication skills and gain awareness about responsible medication use and healthcare services.
